Ellen Ronalds Keene - How Podcasting can Benefit your Business
September 13, 2021
Today I'm chatting with my friend and podcasting mentor Ellen Ronalds Keene all about how podcasting can benefit your business. Ellen was instrumental in supporting me to get my podcast up and running in a way that was sustainable and fun. Ellen (she/her) is an educator, coach, podcaster and podcast producer who works from home on Gaibal country in what is now known as Toowoomba, QLD, Australia. Ellen spent a decade as a teacher before making the shift into the online business world. She has followed her passions for education, online communication and health, and now splits her time between her teacher wellbeing support business Self-Care for Teachers, and podcast production agency, Perk Digital. Key points in this episode: * Podcasting has numerous benefits for businesses, whether you host your own or guest on other podcasts * Podcast content has a much longer lifespan than social media posts and can continue to be leveraged months or years after it was created * Podcasting can be an excellent way to create warm audiences as you prepare to launch and also for your evergreen products and services as it builds the know like trust factor * While podcasts do take a lot of work, they're relatively simple to get up and running without burning out or spending a lot of money on fancy equipment
